The safety of all attendees at RSNA 2015 is our top priority. We continually monitor the status of ongoing events and potential threats at local, national and international levels.
RSNA is working closely with the City of Chicago to ensure that our attendees have a positive travel experience. We ask that anyone arriving at a North Michigan Avenue hotel on Friday allow extra time due to the busy holiday season and any road closures associated with the scheduled demonstration.
The Chicago Police Department will have officers available throughout the city to ensure public safety, address traffic considerations and support any peaceful demonstrations.
Every year, RSNA works closely with McCormick Place and the City of Chicago to promote the safest possible meeting environment and to prepare for the possibility of any emergency that may arise. McCormick Place and the City of Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications have specific preparedness plans in place for the convention center and are working in concert with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and federal authorities. RSNA and McCormick Place have worked with the Chicago Police Department to increase police presence around McCormick Place.
RSNA encourages all attendees to remain aware of their surroundings.
